CYCLOPE, das poetisch-verrückte Spektakel frei nach Jean Tinguely, ist noch bis Mai in Winterthur zu sehen. Eine internationale Künstlertruppe vereint Artistik, Theater und Livemusik – ganz ohne Worte – zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für alle und erweckt Tinguelys «Le Cyclop» mit einer rasanten Show und einem 17 Meter hohen Bühnenbild zum Leben. Im Sommer 2012 wurde CYCLOPE am Ufer des Bielersees als Openair-Veranstaltung uraufgeführt und begeisterte Presse und Publikum. 27‘000 Personen sahen die Produktion.
In artistisch-clowneskem Spiel belebt das Ensemble den Platz. Es entspinnt sich ein poetisches Abenteuer voller Magie, Humor, Liebe und Wagemut. Begleitet vom fulminanten Live-Sound der fünfköpfigen Band errichten sie aus den herumliegenden Trümmern einen riesigen Kopf – den fünfzehn Meter hohen «Cyclope». Noch bevor er fertig ist, geschieht das Unfassbare: Der Koloss erwacht zum Leben.
Die dreizehn ArtistInnen und fünf MusikerInnen erzählen ganz ohne Worte eine Geschichte über die kreativen Erfindergeist und die Kraft der Fantasie. Der alchemistische Zauber entfaltet ein Eigenleben, es turteln Verliebte, es erheitern Spassmacher die Nacht, magische Moment lassen tief in Träume versinken.
Cyclope ist eine Geschichte ohne Worte, ein Abend ohne Schwerkraft und eine Welt ohne Grenzen, die den Sommer verzaubert.

CYCLOPE, the poetically crazy spectacle based on Jean Tinguely, can be seen in Winterthur until May 2014. An international troupe of artists combines artistry, theatre and live music - completely without words - to create an unforgettable experience for everyone and brings Tinguely's "Le Cyclop" to life with a fast-paced show and a 17-metre-high stage set. In summer 2012, CYCLOPE was premiered as an open-air event on the shores of Lake Biel and was received enthusiastically by the press and public alike. 27'000 people saw the production.
In artistic-clownesque play the ensemble enlivens the square. A poetic adventure full of magic, humour, love and daring unfolds. Accompanied by the brilliant live sound of the five-piece band, they erect a huge head from the rubble lying around - the fifteen-metre-high "Cyclope". Even before it is finished, the incomprehensible happens: the colossus comes to life.
The thirteen artists and five musicians tell a story without words about the creative spirit of invention and the power of fantasy. The alchemical magic unfolds a life of its own, lovers whisper, jokers cheer up the night, magical moments sink deep into dreams.
