1918.CH – 100 Jahre Landesstreik

Im Spätsommer 2018 wird die Stadt Olten zum Mittelpunkt eines gesamtschweizerischen und mehrsprachigen Theaterereignisses. Die Proben sind weit vorangeschritten. Rund 100 Darstellerinnen und Darsteller sind bereit und freuen sich sehr auf Ihren Besuch.
1918.CH zeigt Geschichten rund um ein wenig bekanntes, aber zentrales historisches Ereignis für die moderne Schweiz. Jeden Theaterabend mit dabei sind zwei kurze Szenen mit Gästen aus allen Gegenden unseres Landes. Musikalisch begleitet eine Theaterformation der Basel Sinfonietta durch die bilderreiche Inszenierung. Spielort ist die Alte Hauptwerkstätte direkt beim Bahnhof Olten. Diese Hallen sind Zeitzeugen der Vorkommnisse von 1918. 2018 sind sie der Ort, an dem wir uns gemeinsam an die Ereignisse erinnern, welche die Schweiz bis heute prägen.

1918.CH - 100 YEARS NATIONAL STRIKE
In late summer 2018, the city of Olten became the centre of a multilingual theatre event throughout Switzerland.
1918.CH shows stories about a little-known but central historical event for modern Switzerland. Every theatre evening is accompanied by two short scenes with guests from all regions of our country. The Basel Sinfonietta's theatre formation accompanies the 105 performers and guests musically through the richly illustrated production. The venue is the Alte Hauptwerkstätte directly next to Olten railway station. These halls are contemporary witnesses to the events of 1918. In 2018, they will be the place where we will all remember the events that have shaped Switzerland to this day.
